This day Germanwings appeared at Budapest Airport as the second low-cost airline after SAS Snowflake. The new carrier will use Terminal 1. Further information can be found here. 05/22/03 MALÉV, the Hungarian flag-carrier launched new service to Pristina, Serbia and Montenegro. Flights leave five times a week, operated by leased B737-500s. Other changes will take place on 5th May, when new destinations will be served by MALÉV: Damascus, Syria and Split, Croatia. 04/12/03 The new market of this district was opened on 22nd March. It is situated near Üllői Rd., close by Szarvas csárda Sq. More info (how to get there) via e-mail. 03/27/03 The 2A (MALÉV) terminal is temporarily closed in Budapest Airport. The building is undergoing a total renovation, but the arrival level is still opened. Work will last until June, then all MALÉV checking-in will be at terminal 2A.
