Brief Background of Founder

Kemi Adegoke founded a Village of Hope Int'L on the 11th of Sept 2000.  She received a confirmation from God that her calling was to feed and care for the needy.  She was destined to feed nations.  Kemi was born in Washington DC to Mr & Mrs Segun Adegoke where they were both attending the University at the time.. They later returned home to Nigeria in the late 70s', where she and her younger brother were raised.  Kemi grew up Lagos Nigeria, one of the most famous and populous cities in the country.   After her high school education, she returned to the United States in the early 90s to further her education.. She currently has a Bachelors degree in Business Management and will be completing her Masters of Arts degree in Human resources Management by the year 2003. Kemi's dream has always been to one day, become an enterpreneur like her father. However, deep down inside, she knew that she would be working with people to some degree.  At present, she works for one of the top European Funiture designs and Consulting companies in the world.  Within the last 5 years, she has participated in a few causes, namely: Volunteering to Feed the homeless on the streets of Atlanta, donating monetary gifts and her time to the Salvation Army, Must Ministries, Unicef, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and other notable organizations.. She has also sponsored a child from Kenya with the Christian Children Fund.  She has also been on the ministry of helps commitee in her former church where she was a member for 2 years.   Her plan in the near future is to go into full time ministry working for the Lord.. She intends to open up virtual and branch offices in Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and South Africa. She currently have opened up virtual offices in Atlanta, Georgia and New Jersey.  The Atlanta office is being managed by Ruth Chege, a Kenya native. She is currently earning her BSN in Nursing from a local university in Georgia.  Her skills and previous experience in people relations and office administration have been a tremendous contribution to the orgnanization.  In addition, we have the organization's headquarters located in Lagos, Nigeria.
