March 17th, 2003:
Today is a somber St. Patrick's Day!
Today, George W. Bush, President of the United States of America, declared war, not only on Iraq, but on the efforts of the United Nations to preserve peace.
Today, we must respond as follows:
First, we urge those who believe that the Bush administration is illegitimate, imperialistic, criminally stupid, and warmongering, to oppose that administration by any means that present themselves. In our view, terrorism cannot be used to effectively oppose the Bush administration, and will in fact aid it: therefore, we emphatically urge all who oppose the Bush administration to renounce its use in advance.
Second, we offer the Villista National Liberation Front as one organisation to oppose the Bush Administration. We seek to organise in Alta California Norte, Alta California Sur, Baja California Norte, Baja California Sur, Nevada, Arizona, Sonora, Sinaloa, Durango, Chihuahua, Nuevo Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Tejas, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, and Nuevo Leon. We reject the authority of the bad governments of the United States of America and United Mexican States, as well as all those governments subordinate to them. The Villista National Liberation Front seeks to accomplish this rejection, this "no," by peaceful means. Those interested in joining the FVLN please email us as indicated below, indicating clearly why you wish to join the FVLN or what you can do for us: we caution you in advance to use a pseudonym and indicate your area of operations only in general terms, as we do, in order to frustrate the efforts of US Homeland Security as well as of Mexican internal security to suppress us.
Third, we offer the Clandestine Command "Division of the North" to defend the FVLN and all those opposing the governments we do not recognise as legitimate. In order to apply to enlist in the CCDN, first read the Oath of Enlistment, and if you agree, follow the procedure for applying to join the FVLN, as outlined above, but add the word "juro" (I swear), as well as clearly indicating which branch of the service you wish to join:
Laison, Communications, and Investigations, under Insurgent Subcommander "Angeles."
If you wish to be considered an internationalist, rather than as a Mexican, serving in the CCDN, please so indicate in your email by appending the phrase "St. Patrick's Internatonal Brigade."
The CCDN is organised along the lines of the Provisional Irish Republican Army, with small, clandestine Active Service Units: once secure, public key encryped communications are established, you will individually receive your orders. If you are unwilling or unable to carry out those orders, you must resign from the CCDN, and immediately inform us. You must not discuss your orders with anyone other than the one issuing them: failure to comply with this direction will be considered an act of espionage against the CCDN. Although we are organised along the lines of the PIRA, our overall strategic and tactical line is modeled after the South African MK: as such, war will, for us, be a last resort, and, should we have no other choice, will be conducted in such a way as to maximise the chances for a return to peace.
The FVLN has directed the CCDN to begin preparations to resist any attempt to repress resistance to the Bush Administration's war against Iraq, and the Subcommanders execute that order.
From the Mexican Northwest,
Insurgent Subcommander Jeronimo, Branch of Infantry;
Insurgent Subcommanter Patricio, Branch of Combat Engineers;
Insurgent Subcommander Teporaca, Branch of Logistics, Transport, and Procurement;
Insurgent Subcommander Angeles, Branch of Liaison, Communications, and Investigations:
Clandestine Command "Division of the North"
(Villista National Liberation Front).
