Very Esteemed Comrades:
We read with great interest your commentary and analysis of the demonstrations against the Republican and Democrat parties. Let us add that in Mexico it is copied by the PAN and the PRI. In the Mexican United States and United States of America, the governments exploit the people whom they are supposed to serve.
We say enough already!
We urge the Provisional Government of Aztlán to renounce the recognition of the usurper American and Mexican governments, and to muster the National Guard of Aztlán to begin to organize the National Liberation Army of Aztlán. When that happens, the CCDN will be at their service, with object to organize support, through the FVLN, for the Provisional Government, so that it can gain the recognition in the formation of a Transitional Government of Aztlán, with the immediate goal of the withdrawal of the forces of the U.S., and the eventual reunification of Mexico.
It is clear that the U.S. are intent on taking and holding political prisoners and prisoners of this undeclared war. Mumia Abu-Jamal still is imprisoned on Death Row. Leonard Peltier still is imprisoned. Jeff Wright is in a jail of the County of San Bernardino where torture is alleged (West Valley Detention Center) to exceed a speech limit of !3 minutes 3! in San Bernardino. And, of course, those that cross the false frontier are killed by the vigilante ranchers and INS, among others. When will it stop? When the legal challenges fail, how to release the prisoners? Consider this please with a view toward historical experience.
It is also clear to us that the mainly nonviolent, but forceful demonstrations, will be answered by the state violently. A state of war exists between the forces of the corporate state and those against its exploitive domination, disguised as democracy. The Corporate United State of America bars the door to the authentic democracy. The Mexican Corporate United State, on American orders, maintains the closed door to authentic Mexican democracy. What is to be done to open the door? Once again consider the question please from a view of historical experience.
!Liberty!Justice!Democracy!Human Rights!
Attentively, in solidarity and struggle,
From the Mexican northwest,
Insurgent Subcomandante Angeles
Branch of Laison, Communications and Investigations,
Clandestine Command "Division of the North" (Villsta National Liberation Front).
Organizational P.S.: We need to meet with representatives of the Provisional Government of Aztlan as well as with Rage Against the Machine. Could we make initial contact in the Centro Regeneracion or another place at a future date?
Bibliographical P.S.: We read the reading list of the of Rage Against the Machine from http://www.ratm.com/: outstanding! To those, may we add:
Sun Tzu: Art of War.
Insurgent Subcomandante Marcos: Shadows of Tender Fury (odd that RATM missed it).
Nelson Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (notice especially the rationale for, and the history of the formation of the MK).
T.E. Lawrence: Seven Pillars of Wisdom (especially chapter 33, when thinking through the Arab rebellion).
Tim Pat Coogan: the IRA (very parallel to the present political situation of Aztlán: there has been written much on that struggle, but we opine that Coogan's was the best).
Alfredo Mandé: Gringo Justice (again, much has been written on our struggle, but this one is among the best, in our opinion).
