Very Esteemed Comrade:
The anti-Semitism of Hector Carreon of Voz de Aztlan, which casts a shadow on the movement for the liberation of Aztlan as long as the Zionists cast over the Jewish people and faith, increasingly dismays us. (We attach articles from Voz de Aztlan, which strongly evince his anti-Semitic view). Mr. Carreon’s blanket indictment of a people and a religion does such a disservice to our movement that we strongly felt that you should be reminded of his opinion, and we urgently seek your advice as to how to deal with his views within the context of the greater human-rights movement of which the EZLN/FZLN and CCDN/FVLN are but two components. We hope that this problem merits your thoughtful attention. (Please note: we have never agreed with the Zionist position, and there have been other views expressed in Voz de Aztlan than those of Mr. Carreon.)
