"The bulletin related to the need to recruit new members to fight against the racist killers who operate on the "border" has been read with attention and seriousness.
"We interpret the bulletin as a fully justified opportunity to initiate the armed struggle, not only against the racist killers, but also against the racist and imperialistic empire. The continuous murders in cold blood of our Raza is a clear manifestation of what the Yankee empire represents: racialism and death. Because of this reality, the International Native American Movement of Continental Liberation (MINALC) supports unconditionally the creation of a process structured to identifying and physically eliminating any person(s) that directly or indirectly is a culprit of any crime, attempted or committed against any person of La Raza, either Mexican, a Central American, Suramericano, or other members of our Raza, who cross or circulate along the "border" that divides us as a Raza in a Continent.
"Though there has always existed the will to solve the serious problems via dialogue, the enemy is not nor will be ready to solve the problems in non-violent forms; on the contrary, the enemy is only ready to commit crimes not only against our people in Aztlan, but also in the whole Native American Continent.
"We know that the armed struggle will cause more tragedy to our people, but we are sure that there is no other alternative against the savage crimes that the enemy continually commits against our Raza in general. In accordance with this reality, we express our desire to contribute as obligation to our Raza, to the development of a political - military strategy which bears an approach designed to physically elimiate the enemy in any place of the Native American Continent, including Aztlan. This conclusion is the result of a long study and careful observation of our reality as people, a situation that we compare with the reality of the Palestinian people, who also are being murdered by the common enemy. We conclude that with the racist killers there is nothing of which to speak or to negotiate and if war is what they want, war we will give itto them until victory. The moment to initiate the armed struggle by all our Raza is now that the objetive conditions exist already not only in Aztlan but also in the whole Native American Continent."

To this we reply:
First: We do not seek to initiate the armed struggle: we prepare in case it is forced upon us.
Second: As related in our last communique, a convention of racist vigilantes near Douglas, Arizona was thwarted not only by an armed response, but by the peaceful, legal actions of Border Action Network, an NGO which safeguards the human rights of migrants at the Arizona-Sonora border: both aspects of this defeat of the racist thugs must be taken into account in any analysis.
Third: The extremely broad language of the MINALC call to arms mirrors that of the US "Department of Homeland Security" Gestapo: we do not support the violation of human rights by either the DHS or by MINALC. For our part, the FVLN is primarily a human rights organisation with the CCDN as its armed self-defence branch: it will never be an armed, terrorist organisation with a civilian facade.
