The CCDN/FVLN declares the following:
1) Effective immediately, we terminate any efforts to unite with the FNLS: they clarified that they want nothing to do with armed struggle, and we respect their decision (although we have only prepared for armed struggle, not engaged in it, because we anticipate that the forces of the oppressor will make the preferred option of peaceful struggle impossible).
2) We urge a dialogue between the FNLS, EPR/PDPR, and EZLN on the question of socialism of the 21st Century: we believe as do Hugo Chávez Frías, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, his comrades, and millions of oppressed of the world, that only via the road of economic democracy...that is to say, socialism...will any of the just demands of the Mexican people be concretised and realised.
3) We embrace our socialist comrades in the PSUV, MAS, FSLN, FMLN, and other parties and movements which seek to construct a world without class divisions, but within which many worlds can fit.
