ULTRA WEAR
This is a low impact, high sliding wear type of screw conveyor. The Ultra-Wear Line of screw conveyors use mild steel troughs and augers, but line the troughs and the carrying side of the flights with high density alumina oxide ceramic material. The alumina oxide material has a hardness of 9 on the MOH Scale and will normally provide a much longer life than screw conveyors using abrasion resistant plate or rubber lining. When high wear problems are causing your down time, this is the one to use.

V.V. 360 LINE
This line of screw conveyors are built to meet the demand for moderate to heavy abrasion and high impact loading. The flighting is made from 170,000 yield, 350 to 380 brinnel material mounted on heavier than normal torque tubes. For example, a 12” diameter conveyor screw may be mounted on a 5” O.D. x 0.500 wall tube bushed for 3” diameter shafts. The 360 Line comes in all standard sizes or pitches. These units are made to withstand heavy impact and abrasion and still get the job done.

V.V. 200 LINE
These screw conveyors are built to handle light to moderate abrasion and light to moderate impact. The 200 LINE is slightly more expensive than mild steel but provides a cost effective increase in the life of the unit. This line uses 180 to 200 brinnel plate for flights and troughs, and schedule 80 pipe for torque tubes. The 200 LINE comes in all standard sizes and pitches, or can be made to many special sizes and pitches. When your material handling requires a step up from mild steel, this is a prime choice.

Combinations of the conveyor lines described above may be put together for the most cost effective solution to your problem. An example of this would be using a V.V. 360 trough with an ULTRA WEAR conveyor screw. We can supply a complete material handling and storage system to meet your requirements.

This is part of a ceramic lined screw conveyor trough with a ceramic hard-surfaced conveyor screw.

Paddle blender unit with adjustable pitch paddle. The edges of the flights were hard-surfaced to help withstand wear and abrasion.
