This is exactly what they poured over.  They put wire mesh in right before they began pouring, but what you see here is exactly what is under the new concrete.
This is an example of the cracking.  It has now spread wall to wall in a 15'x25' room.  It is deep and wide enough for me to stick a piece of paper about an inch and a half into it.  Pieces are separating out of the crack completely and chunks of concrete are just barely sitting there,
Here is the picture of the crack from outside the room, before they poured the outside patio.  It is already several inches deep visibly.  I believe it has gone even further now because the crack at the top has widened since this picture was taken (almost a month ago).
