Man and the machine..

Yesterday was fun writing down about scooters, bikes and things like that. And today I'll be continuing the same. I was looking out for reasons why a scooter might not come as a hit among young.. college goers.

Looking at the way people drive their machine, I thought probably I'll have a clue atleast.. distant it might be when arriving out to a good enough reason.. but good enough to give a base to my article. Often times I've seen myself into a more aggressive style of driving where I push myself back the seat of a bike, and put my torso at an angle of 80 degrees... rather further down 75 degrees with the bike. Today, while walking down to my office from home, I came across a question when one dude just whizzed past me.. n I skipped a beat.

Why do some people put out that weird angle when on a bike?              Well, thinking strategically (I like the word strategy .. cause u know I'm one of those kinds.. who say.. I shud have my own company) but logically would be the right word, I divide people into categories.

People who put out that angle, where angle is inversely proportional to the speed.

And people who don't put out that angle. cause I've seen people who just drive the bike at an angle that they might as well be sitting in front of a computer and typing some DSTD. People who are reaching their mid 30s or have already crossed that, fall mostly in this category.

Being a great follower of greater Freud, I could come out with only one reason and that is the want of having something between the legs so spread apart, when on a bike. Now you may ask then why we have people of the second category, well I would answer that it is the testosterone level that decides most of your attitude on the bike. Which might lead to the conclusion, a dose of Viagra... might just get you literally lie on the bike .. and you driving at a speed of 100 miles an hour. Well it might just occur to prove me right.

And an interesting thing I observed, the angle further bends down to 72 degrees, if some beautiful female happens to be driving the Mercedes, cruising smoothly by your side.

People who are more.. scientifically minded than I, would further suggest that perhaps people do it so as to make the posture streamlined.. But I would say don't believe them. They are one of those, who just talk, predict, speculate.
