Live Draft
The live draft will be held at the VFFL fantasy page in the caltexans.football.cbssportline.com draft room.
The date will hopefully be Monday, September 5th at 8 p.m central or 6 p.m. pacific. Please let me know immediately if that is going to be impossible for you.
If you are late you may miss your first pick! Please check this page before the draft let me know if you are having any problems. You must be present for the draft.
Drafting order will be selected the weekend before the draft so it should be set by August 30th. The draft order will then go with single selections 1,2,3,4,5,6,etc... for the first round and then reverse order
for the second round, 10, 9, 8, etc... So if you have pick first or last,
be ready to make 2 picks in a row! During the draft please keep a list of who has been taken so you
don't repeat a someone elses pick. Also use the typing text on the program to enter your picks. If this becomes a problem for you (like 2 bad picks in a row) I will
assign you the first available Dolphin for your pick! Also try to limit yourself to 2 minutes or less per pick, with more teams this season the draft will drag on too long. Anyone taking too much time will be
assigned the next available Dolphin. So please be ready!
You will draft until you have selected a player for each position,
both starting and bench. You will not be able to select more than 2 quarterbacks, 3 running backs, 6 receivers, 2 tight-ends, 2 kickers and 2 defensive/special teams. That is a total of 17 picks per
team with 10 teams currently but that could expand to 12 max. If the draft moves quickly it should take no longer than 4 hours and hopefully only 3.
Please dont give your next pick until I ask for it - if there is a problem with a pick and you go ahead and pick before that is resolved that person may end up stealing your player! Thanks! If everyone is courteous it should be a great draft.
How the game is set-up
Each team is assigned to one of 2 divisions, Californians or Texans. Each week you will be matched up with another team and your scores
will be compared and the team
with the most points will get a victory. There will be 15 weeks to the regular season.
The top 2 teams with the best records from each division
will play each other in week 16 for the playoffs and the winner of these playoffs will
meet in the week 17 for the coveted VFFL Championship. The winner of the VFFL will
be awarded all the bragging rights associated with winning a championship and a nice traveling trophy to boot.
Tiebreakers to enter the playoffs are determined as

- Total Points
- Division Points
Point Scoring
To see how your players score points, please check the cbssportsline site - it is very mathmatical but makes sense after you look at it awhile.

This is the best part of this season and the reason I moved to cbssportsline.com. You can sit in front of your computer all day Sunday and watch
your team score with the real-time scoring provided. No more waiting until Tuesday and trying to figure on paper! Those were the days...

Be sure to read the rules at caltexans.football.cbssportline.com about this - we all know how it works now and you have to make sure you get your picks entered into the computer or let me know ahead of time so I can get them done for you.
Trades
Trades may begin immediately following the draft! Trades will be voted on by league members to make sure they are fair. Once again see caltexans.football.cbssportline.com for the
exact rules.
Weekly Lineups
Another nice thing about caltexans.football.cbssportline.com is that you can set your line-ups online. It is also nice for me because either you get it done or else you don't! I can't
change anything for you now so be careful when you set your weekly line-ups, don't be late, and don't forget!!!!!
Final Rule
No profane or vulgar language will be tolerated! I don't use it and you shouldn't. There are better ways to express yourself.
