| Here's a center channel I made of vinyl fence post material. It's cheap, easy to cut, and it's almost dead with very little vibration. The speakers and crossover are from Parts Express. The speakers chosen and crossover design were provided by Vance Dickason. It's a 3rd order slope. The woofers are 3.5" Bravox. The tweeter is a Tang Band P.E. #264-804 textile dome. I used a 3.5 in sq post. I also saw 4.5 vinly posts at Lowe's. The outside of the box is wrapped in black vinyl, like initation leather. Costs about $60 to make. |
