To My Teachers.....
As an
introduction to this website I would like to do a little thank you to the many
who have been my teachers
without even knowing in
what I like to call the "World of Working German Shepherd Dogs".
I have asked many of them to contribute articles to this site and
have received such a wonderful response from these unknowing teachers. I would like to thank them for encouraging me and for giving some of their time and knowledge to help me teach those of you interested in learning about these wonderful dogs.
I would like to send out my biggest thanks to one of the best
teachers. One who taught me things that I didn't dream were possible. This teacher is a quiet silent type of teacher and to learn from him I had to pay close
attention to him and what he was doing. Though there
were many times that I didn't understand him, he remained patient with me. He has never taught me with words but rather with his actions. I don't know if it was ever his intention to teach me, but he has taught me the true
meaning of the words working, dedication, determination, love and devotion. Yes - he is my dog.
For the rest of you (two legged) unknowing teachers out there may
this website be a dedication to your knowledge. Let this be a safe haven for us to learn and you to share.
If you feel like writing an article, or if you'd like to suggest an
article for this website, please see my email below.
This site is a continuing work in progress.
