The 325 Connection |
1965 - 1969 |
Production of the short-scale Rickenbacker guitars continued into the late 60's with more 325's and the re-introduction of the variation models 315 and now the model 320. Jetglo models appear more frquently during this period. |

A nice early '66 325 in Jetglo. That's a factory finish which makes it even rarer. Jetglo was still a special order at this time. It's in exceptional condition (& serial number only a few digits from McGuinn's) . Serial No. FA 102 |
Here's one to answer a few questions. It's the McGuinn 325. No it's not a 12 string, Yes it's special order factory Jetglo and there is a sound hole. Roger and Crosby took it to Ric & added a toggle switch. Roger added the Vox treble booster himself. Thanks to Henry McGuinn who still has it. Ser No. FAXXX |

Here's the only 1965 model 325 in the gallery at the moment. This appears to be the earliest example of a factory Jetglo 325 (non Lennon) That includes all 325's back to 1958 too. Serial No. EA XXX |

1966 325Mapleglo. Very nice condition too. Note how high the serial numbers have jumped in 6 months. That gives you an idea how many were being made in 1966. Serial No. FG 2391 |

Recently back from a thorough restoration is this lovely '66 325. Completely back to original spec now, and looking great. FK 3786 |
