A famous 325 in the wrong hands! |

Just for laughs the 325 Connection presents this special series of photographs showing a famous 325 in the wrong Beatles' hands.
Thru the years I've noticed a few rare pics showing DB122 being messed with by the wrong beatle. I recently undertook to gather these in one place and here are the results. I'd love to see any more you can add. Hey...try and find Ringo holding the 325. That took some doing! |

First is one we've probably all seen. George borrowing DB122 in the Beatles 2nd movie "Help" during the "Another Girl" seaside segment. We probably also remember Paul's interesting instrument that day... Here's a still taken during filming. |

And a little known colour photograph taken after filming the segment. Copywrite - GRex Features. |

Another photo from the same day provides the answer. John is actually playing another '64 325, but not a 6 string. It's his specially ordered 12 string version making a rare appearance at a Beatles recording session. So what are we looking at here...perhaps recording "Every Little Thing" . Do I see timpani drums in the previous photo? |

You'd think Paul would leave it alone, being left handed and all, but even he liked to borrow it on occasion. Here he is in the studio, playing it left handed but strung righty (as he was known to be pretty good at doing) Note that it's plugged in. But what's John playing.... |

Now here's that almost impossible one you've been waiting for. On the set of A Hard Days Night, Ringo relaxes and happens to pick up a handy guitar to strum...guess which one. And I dont want to hear any comments about which chord he might be playing ..... (smile) |

Just to see it back in familiar hands, here's another little known photo of John with DB122 (looking a little tousled) on the TV program Ready Steady Go. Not their first appearance either. (You may recall earlier B&W photographs from their first appearance with 2 Rickenbackers. John's original '58 and George using his 425)
