The Proper Way to Squish a Gummy
Here's how to properly squish a gummy.
First, take the gummy between your thumb and forefinger of one hand. Bring fingers together in a squishing motion. Now, switch the gummy to your other hand, and repeat the process. Keep on repating this process of squishing and switching hands until your gummy is very tender. WARNING: IF YOUR GUMMY IS STICKY, YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR! No one wants a sticky gummy, because sticky gummies taste like hands.

Why squish gummies?

Every gummy-squisher has thier own reason, but the most popular one at vintagegummies, is the fact that most gummies just are not squishy enough to start with. You jaws have to do too much chewing. So, we like to squish them with our hands, so that they are tender enough. Some gummies, like most gummy worms, are already squishy enough, so you don't need to squish them. But most gummies need that extra squish to be nice and tender.
Gummies with solid parts, like this, need the most squishing.
Clear-ish ones, like these bears, don't  need too much squishing. They are already tender.
