c. 1909 Spalding.   This uniform belonged to Joseph F. Dufek who lived in Brainard Twp, in Butler County Nebraska. Dufek was a hardware salesman who played town ball. Census records from 1910 and 1920 in Butler County Nebraska show that Dufek lived in Brainard Twp and was a "Dealer in Farm Implements". The jersey has button holes at the ends of the sleeves for detachable sleeve extensions. The pants have MOP buttons, a brass clasp, and single (not tunnel) belt loops all around.  The Spalding tag dates it to c. 1909.
