Well, where do I start?

This is my 1961 Volkswagen Bug. I bought this car in Feb. of 2000.
The car is still all 6 volt. When I bought the car it ran well but the body was in bad shape.
The first thing that I did to it was to get the bodywork and the paint done.

The reason I went with this color is because the interior was done in this color. The color is not an original color:-(
As far as the interior is concerned, it is in great shape. It has gray velour seats and headliner.

The motor is the stock 36 hp, that must have been rebuilt at some time. It really drives nice.

Every place I go I get thumbs up and kudos:-) I can't say that I mind the attention.

As you can see, she is not museum quality, but nevertheless a great daily driver!

About me:

I live in Broomfield Colorado. We have been living in Colorado since October of 98, and we love it! I have to say that it is a great place to live. We moved here from Sunnyvale California and I can honestly say that I don't miss the housing prices, the smog, the traffic and all the other bad things that come with living in a over congested state!

I am married to my best friend Sylvia, and have two great daughters Claudia and Justine! Here is a picture of them:

I work at Sun Microsystems as a Web developer... Ya I know I am not showing to much skill on this page;-) Oh well!

I currently have 2 VW's and an Expedition. My bugs are a 61' and a 63' that I am going to be redoing shortly. Someday we hope to get a 21 or 23 window Bus!

What do we do for fun you ask...

We BBQ at least once a week:-) YUM!
We hang out with Sylvia's sister Glocar and her hubby Cactus Lou! Welcome to Colorado!
We love to spend money that we don't have :-0
We hang out together and enjoy spending time with our children.
We Love the Lakers! The Rams! and the Dodgers!
