The Cogs
Embraced in the dark curtain of night,
When fairyland lies in slumber
Across the sky we take flight
More than tenscore in number

Sprinkling moonlight new
On the velvet of the lands
To spread good dreams to a chosen few
And feel cool air slip through our hands

High we flit like flash of white,
Across the veil we fly
We scatter stars through all the night
And set the moon up in the sky.

We are the ones who are,
A blessing replaces every curse
Sillouhetted 'gainst a solitary star
The cogs of the universe.
