Umm.... I watched the new episode of Xmen today, and it suddenly occurred to me that a Rogue
and Duo crossover might be fun. Don't hurt me. This is just for fun.

"Two Rogues Cross Paths"
Duo cursed to himself. He was getting tired of loner missions.
#Why didn't they give this one to Heero or Wufie? They seem to like the damn things,# he
thought to himself.
He rolled his eyes as he started to put up camp. #The desert.... they're off at some snooty
resort of Releana's, and I'm stuck here in the f###ing desert. No pool, no expensive food,
no babes....# His thought process was suddenly cut off as a gorgeous redhead with a white
streak and green eyes literally fell from the sky.
Duo looked up and smiled. "Ask and ye shall receive."
‘Wha... what?'
‘You speak english? Are you hurt?' Duo asked giving her the best flirtie smile he could
muster.
‘Ah.... don't think so. Where am ah?'
‘The desert.'
‘Am ah in America? You were speakin' some other language ah think.'
‘Your...your on a colony.'
‘A what?'
‘Umm..... You know, a colony.'
‘Fraid ah don't.'
‘Ummm.... what do you remember last?'
‘Ah was... ah really don't want to talk about it?' [1]
Duo smiled widely. ‘Hey, where did you get that cute accent?'
‘Ah.... ah... Louisana.'
‘Where?.....Um... let me help you up.'
‘No!!! Don't touch me!!!'
Duo raised his hands in the air and took a step back.
‘Woah. I'm not that kind of guy. I was just trying to help.' #Now I'm the bad guy again.
Why does this always happen to me?#
‘No... It's not that.... it's just.... um....'
All went silent for a moment.
‘So... what's your name?' Duo broke the silence biting his lip. #Real smooth, not.#
‘Rogue. What's your's?'
‘Duo. Pleased to meet you, milady.' #I am such a dork.# Duo reached out his hand to her,
but she didn't take it. #Oh yeah. She adores me...not!# Duo smirked with a sweat drop
going down the back of his head.
‘Do you... do you have any gloves?' Rogue finally asked.
‘Are you cold.... um... well I mean the desert does get pretty cold at night.' #Shut up,
baka.# Duo thought to himself.
Duo opened his pack and retrieved a pair of black gloves. He reached out to give them to
her, but she didn't reach back.
‘Look, I'm not going to try anything. Here.' Duo tossed the gloves to her and she put them
on as she looked down sheepishly.
‘It's not that.... It's just... Can we start over? I'm Rogue.' She reached a hand out to
him. He smiled and shook it.
‘I'm Duo.'
[1] Rogue touched Nightcrawler in ‘Xmen' Episode 3. She got his powers and that is how she
accidentally teleported above Duo in the desert. The powers have now worn off. If anyone
wants a pic of her just ask. I got one from somewhere promoting ‘Xmen Evolution.'
