Duo squinted in pain.

"What?! Heero, what?!!!"
"Just get some sleep, ok."
The almost resulting argument was cut off as Quatre and some doctors entered the room.
"Heero, the doctors have found a strange substance in your blood."

"Do you know what this could be, Heero?"

"Yes, what *is* it Heero?"
"Get some sleep, Duo."
"If you're not going to answer us, I will just give you the test results."

Heero's eyes narrowed, and he rose to his feet.
"You need to stay in bed. You were shot in the leg."
"How does it feel, Yuy?"
"Shut up!" Heero ran off, and Quatre chased after him.
Duo rolled his eyes as he looked at the doctors. "Boys... Hey what are ya gonna do with that
needle?!"
"You need to get some rest. You had a really close call. If Mister Yuy hadn't given you
blood..."
"Heero gave me blood?"
"Yes, that's how the foreign substance in his blood was discovered. Now get some rest."
"But he had two gunshot wounds..."
"You share an extremely rare blood type. We told him he needed the blood himself, but he
said if it was him or you that it had better be you or he would blow up the whole estate."
Duo's mouth dropped open. #Why would he care? Does he need me to complete a mission or
something?#
Heero ran and ran. Fear drove him forward when a sudden realization popped into his mind.
#If the serum effected my blood that means that could be how it takes effect. That
means... Duo...#
"Heero wait!"
Duo suddenly had an epiphany.
"Wait, if Heero gave me blood does that mean the foreign substance in his blood will effect
me?"
"We still need to run some tests."
