"Switching Places" Chapter 3

Duo and Akane stood outside of the classroom while holding buckets of water.
"This is all *your* fault, Duo. What do you think you were doing anyway?"
"Jealous?" *grins*
"I would never be jealous of a *pervert* like you!" Akane dumps one of her buckets on Duo.
Duo looks down and makes a pouty face. #Now I have to go find some more hot water.#
"Aren't you going to say something, pervert?"
"Am I supposed to?" *raises eyebrows in confusion*
Suddenly, the wall crumbles and in steps a cute boy with dark hair, an umbrella and
backpack, and a goldenrod bandanna with black stripes tied around his brow.
#Not bad.#
"Duo! Today I shall send you to hell!"
"Too late. I've already been there. Who're you?"
"Ryoga..." Akane was interrupted.
"Shut up Duo! I am here to take away your happiness like you did mine!"
"Hey Akane, what's he talking about?"
"I think it has something to do with bread."
"Nani?!"
Akane shrugs.
"Stop ignoring me!"
Ryoga attacks Duo.

"What's wrong with me?!"
The door swings open to reveal Wufei.
Wufei looks around the room to see Ranma's blood everywhere.
"What's going on in here?! I heard a crash and yelling and... Ranma's awake? What
happened?"
Ranma scrunches into a ball on the floor and continues scrubbing. Quatre wraps a towel
around him and tries to stop him.
"Blood, blood everywhere. I-it, it won't wash off." Tears flow down Ranma's cheeks leaving
clean spots.
"Ranma has amnesia, and Heero forced him to go on a mission. I don't think he remembers his
training," Quatre whispered.
Wufei looked down at Ranma, who was still curled up on the floor.
Wufei's eyes narrowed. "This is Yuy's falt?"
"He... he didn't know. Ranma has never had a problem like this before."
#Blood... won't... wash... Wait, if I'm here... that murderer is with...#
"AKANNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!"

To Duo's surprise, he was able to defend himself quite well. Before he knew it, he was
blocking and dodging with ease.
#If only Heero could see me now.#
"Look, I really don't see the point in fighting. I'm not even sure what I did."
"Ryoga, Duo has amnesia."
"I don't care. He will pay!"
Duo ran and kicked Ryoga, causing both of them to go flying out the window.
#I am going to die.#
Once again to Duo's surprise, he landed on his feet.
#Cool!#
The drizzle of rain started again and Ryoga pulled out his umbrella.
"Can we fight later? This rain is cold."
"How dare you mock me, Duo!"
#What did Ranma do to this guy?#
The rain started to pour down harder, and Ryoga bounced off."
#Where's he going?#
Duo pondered over following him and decided that maybe he needed some time to cool off.

Everyone in the room except Ranma froze in place.
Xellos popped in.
Xellos: "Tisk... tsk.... tsk... We aren't supposed to speak of our old life."
Ranma: "You put a murderer in with Akane! Take me back, now!"
Xellos smiled.
"You're in *no* position to be making demands."
"Why you..."
"I would be nice to me, if I were you. Don't worry, Akane will be fine."
"You put her with a murderer!"
"You're one to talk. He was put in the same situation you were. Here, in his world, it's
kill or be killed. He never said he liked it."
Ranma looked down and around at the other two guys.
"Are they..."
"They were put in the same situation too. I better go. Lina is in too good of a mood
today. I think I'll go annoy her. Remember to follow the rules." *waves finger in parental
manner*
Xellos pops out and everything goes back to normal... so to speak.
"This *is* Yuy's fault! Injustice!"
Wufei leaves the room and runs up the stairs.
The image of the blood splatter on the screen and the screams play over and over in Ranma's
mind and tears continue to cover his face.
Quatre gets a towel and wipes some of the blood and tears off of Ranma's face.
"Sometime's all of us have to do bad things to protect good people."
"I don't kill."
"Things will get better when you regain your memor..."
"I don't kill!"
Heero grabbed his gun and was starting to make it downstairs when he ran into the extremely
pissed Wufei.
"Injustice!"
"What are you talking about?"
"Ranma had just awaken, and you forced him to go on a mission. Now, he is a complete mess,
and it's all your fault."
"I'll take care of it. He won't botch any more missions."
"That's not what I'm talking about!"
Heero pushed Wufei out of the way and continued walking.
"I don't think so. Where are you going, Yuy?"
"I have a mission."
"Then, we'll finish this when you return."
Wufei stomped up to his room.
