"Trapped" Chapter 5
The boulder finally moved to reaveal...
"Hiroshi."
"Shigeru?"
"Hai. Satoshi is over there, he's not looking so good. He was badly injured in the
cave-in. We need to find a way to get him out of here."
Hiroshi's face displayed a prominent frown as he walked in the direction that Shigeru
pointed.

A lump formed in Hiroshi's throat as he peered down at Satoshi. The boy looked so battered
and frail.
Satoshi's eyes fluttered open, and his face started to redden. Then, he realized who he was
looking at.
"Hiroshi?"
"Hai."
"What are you doing here?"
"I found him behind this boulder."
Shigeru spoke up.
"Ahh... glad ta see ya. I'd shake your hand, but.." *looks down at his wrist*
Hiroshi gives Satoshi another worried look.
"Umm... Guys... I uhh... I kinda have a small problem."
"What's that, Satoshi?"
Satoshi blushes even more at Hiroshi's question.
"I kinda need to go to the bathroom, and I can't stand or use my right hand." *blushes even
more, swiftly joined by the other two boys*
"Odds or evens Hiroshi?"
"Nani?"
"Ok, I'll choose. Odds, I go take him; evens, you do."
"Oh... Ok."
"1, 2, 3!"
Shigeru held out two fingers and Hiroshi held out one. Shigeru sweatdropped. Satoshi
wished that cave-in would have killed him. Shigeru leaned over and gently scooped Satoshi
up into his arms. Pikachu, having some idea of what was going on, began to giggle and
follow as Shigeru walked toward a corner of the cave carrying Satoshi.
"You go stay with Hiroshi, Pikachu. Please."
Pikachu did as asked.
Shigeru held Satoshi up, gently, yet firmly. It was almost comforting until the boy
remembered what they were there for.
Shigeru couldn't believe this was happening to him. Someone up there must be looking down
and laughing hard, and to make matters worse, it felt soooo good to hold Satoshi.
Hiroshi started to search for a way out once again, trying to ignore the arguing between the
two boys behind a rock, behind him. He vaguely made out an "ouch" and something about
Satoshi wanting to work with Shigeru even less than Shigeru wanted to work with him.
Hiroshi suddenly found himself giggling at the whole situation. When you look at it
objectively, it really is funny.
Both boys suddenly piped up with...
"This isn't funny!!!"
The phrase, of course, made Hiroshi giggle even more until he realized what serious danger
Satoshi was in. The boy obviously needed medical treatment soon. Hiroshi had always had a
soft spot for, more like a crush on, Satoshi, and now he was hurt, bad. He wished he could
just take away all his pain.
Suddenly, the rock Hiroshi was fumbling with slid out of place, causing a mini cave-in on
right on top of him.
