Back to Violette's Corner
Little Body

A little body so frail and sweet
Now lying so cold from head to feet
With never a day to play in the sun,
Never a chance to walk or run,
Never a smile or even a cry,
Barely the time to say goodbye.
A little girl that barely could glance
At the world around that gave her no chance,
Now only the body of a soul stolen too fast
Before life had a chance to last.
A little girl so frail and sweet
Now the world she never will meet.
