The Creative Labs is the new Video Card from Creative. This new card houses one if the best chipsets ever made by nVIDIA. It is called the GeForce 256. This card is AGP 2X or 4X with super fast writes. This new card has the new DDR memory (double data rate). In theory this memory will allow any GeForce equipped video card to offer almost twice the amount of memory bandwidth than the old SDR (single data rate) memory. Another BIG thing that helps the Annihilator is the new GPU. This chip does the T&L (transform and lighting) which in turn allows your CPU to do the intelligence and other things the video card would not do. You can see a chart that tells the difference when using a GeForce from not using a GeForce card. The card comes with Three external ports. One Video-out, one TV-out, and one DVI-out. The DVI-out port is a cool feature that encodes a digital signal that will go to new flat panel monitors. The card has 32megs of 300Mgz DDR memory, 4 3d pipelines, 4.8Gigs of memory bandwidth, and hardware acceleration for Direct 3d and openGL applications.
