About the Photographer:
				Pete has had a strong interest in photography since his first days in a darkroom years ago.   Pete first began to develop his skills in high school photography classes, where he was awarded as a  "Photography Student of the Year" and was ranked in several student photography competitions.  After high school Pete's interest in photography took a backseat to his studies.  Pete graduated from Catawba College in 2005 with a degree in Political Science: International Relations.  In 2008 Pete earned his Masters degree in Higher Education Administration from Appalachian State University.  Pete has a strong interest in working in college student affairs and student activities.  Although photography had been put on the back burner, Pete continued to develop his photography skills in college as a photographer for the yearbook and working on contracted projects for some of his professors and friends. When Pete first started he developed his skills on film and in the dark room just before the digital boom.  Today, Pete works with Canon digital camera equipment, and Adobe PhotoShop for digital photo editing/retouching.
