2003 Honda Nighthawk CB750
Purchased: February, 2003 - $6400 otd
(included luggage set and extended warranty)
I bought my Nighthawk 750 with long-distance touring in mind. I wanted a bike that was both reliable and comfortable, but wasn't weighted down with all the unecessary gadgetry of most modern sport touring motorcycles. It had to be a bike requiring a minimum of maintenance, yet still deliver entertaining performance. The shaft drive of Kawasaki's Vulcan 750 almost won me over, but in the end I decided to go with Honda's proven, die-hard (and much more powerful) CB750. With a huge Plexi-III windshield and a three piece Givi hard luggage set, the bike is just as capable of touring the country as any monsterous Gold Wing or Road King, only it's twice as nimble. I purchased the bike with a 5-year extended warranty from Honda, so I should be hanging onto this one for quite some time. |
