Well, I am back from Iowa.  Thanks to everyone (Kendra, and Justine) for you condolences.  Yeah, the trip sucked.  On the way, we witnessed an accident.  We were just ouside Ft. Morgan, and there was lots of rain, and hail on the road.  A lady in her car just a couple hundered feet ahead started to fish tail, then she spun, and drove off an exit and rolled her car.  We pulled over and I ran down the muddy hill to her car.  She was alright, just a little shaken up, and she had hit her head.  It took the Brush F.D. a few minutes to get there, but they had to use the "Jaws of Life" to cut her out.  It was very interesting.  After the Highway Patrol FINALLY showed, we gave out statement, and left.  From there it was another 14 hours to West Branch Iowa, still 2 hours away from where we were going.  The next day we got to Maquoketa, and went straight to the furneral home to set up the funeral and visitation and shit.  Sunday was uneventful really.  Monday we had to meet with the priest since he had never met grandpa, and needed to know more about him to do a proper service.  So we all sat around grandma's living room, and told everything we could remember, and of course, there were no dry eyes as we all talked about who we was, and how he lived.  Tuesday was visitation, and that was really hard.  He shouldn't have been lying there like that, he still had lots of time left.  But people came, and gave their condolences.  Even grandpas brother showed up, he is over 90 years old an in a nursing home.  Then on Wednesday, the funreal.  It was a good service, even though it was hard.  Afterwords, the family said their final goodbyes.  Everyone cryed, even myself.  It's hard to say goodbye to someone like that.  He was the only person I looked forward to seeing every time we went to Iowa.  Now he's gone...  If you want to know a little bit more about him,

I just want to let everyone know I will be gone for a few days.  I have to make an emergency trip back to Iowa tomorrow.  My grandfather passed away this afternoon.  If you need me for any reason, feel free to e-mail me.  I should be able to check it once or twice during the week.  I guess that's everything.
