Location

One of the things I take most pride in is my home. I adore creative and fancy homes. My husband and I designed ours ourselves.

We live on an acreage in a secluded area in Australia that overlooks the ocean. There are always beautiful butterflies flittering about and colorful birds singing. Occasionally, a kangaroo comes into the area. We moved to our current home just after my husband and I got married. We chose to Australia because we find it very unique and naturalistic. It is fun to go out and visit exciting and fast-paced places all over the world, but the home we want to come home to at the end of the day is one that is displaced from all the chatter, is quiet, and has it's own slow rhythm and beauty that keeps us better in touch with ourselves.

Our house is characterized by a stunning circular stair with a balcony, abundant windows, and an extravagant master suite highlighted by a a private sitting room with a fireplace, an opulent bath, and spacious walk-in closets. There is a private study and gourmet kitchen which flows easily into the walk-out breakfast room and vaulted hearth room. The traditional main floor provides a center foyer flanked by formal living and dining rooms. There is also an art studio, a dance studio, and lots of beautiful flowering plants.

Here are some pictures of the inner dwelling:

We also have a vacation house in Hawaii that waits for us every summer.

Our winter vacation house is right near a quaint village, a fruit market and the shore of a beautiful beach with soft white sand. Here we enjoy ourselves by lying around in the sun or swimming in the clear water, or we go up and mingle with the locals, or browse through the souvenirs and exotic fruits that are for sale. It is the most relaxing and replenishing way to spend time. It's like a dream...
