is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c)3 , living history, educational re-enactment organization based primarily in the Richmond, Virginia area.
Our way to offer tribute to these great men of the 'War Between The States' is to study as much as possible the many facets of army life during the period, to include the uniforms, equipment, military training, army experiences, etc. We then apply this knowledge and understanding as accurately as possible in our interpretive programs. If you have a desire to strap on a cartridge box, shoulder a musket, learn the school of the soldier, parry and thrust with the bayonet, deploy as skirmishers, smell the powder, discuss strategy and tactics, sing around a campfire, and sleep under the stars, then it may be time to consider joining one of the premier Living History units in the field today.
