A Soldiers Story

Hello. My father and I would like to share this true story that happened back on August 25th,1944. My father's name is Harry Hunter Morgan and was in Normandy, France at this time. He found a picture of this American woman on a German soldier. Realizing that it possibly it did not belong to this soldier, he took it from him. When he returned to the states, and to New Orleans, La, he sent this picture to the newspaper there with his short story in hope's of finding this woman and returning her picture to her. That did not happened. The handwriting on the back of this picture was written in English. My father hung on to this picture all these year's and it bothered him all that time. Wondering where this woman was and if by some miracle, if her brother Ben did return home. We hope that someday someone will recognize this picture. Maybe the woman herself if she is still with us or another family member. It is possible that this woman is Australian or English. I guess this woman can be German but my father feels so strongly about her not being German. Below is the picture found.

"Your Always in my thoughts in whatever I do. Please be careful, Ben. With Love Sis"
