| Thanks to Wade Brorsen, I now know that this is Samuel D. Lowery and his wife Malinda Smith Lowery taken at their home in 1919. The story goes that the reason they are both sitting is to hide the fact that she was quite a bit taller than he. Thanks Wade for the clarification. He also sent me the picture below of Ezekial Smith and his copy of the same picture.. |
