GA Renaissance
Festival 2007
While attending college in Pennsylvania I loved
visiting the PA Renaissance Festival regularly with
many of my fellow literature and history buffs.
Now living in the south I am very excited to be a
part of bringing this style of entertainment to the
people of Georgia. Our daily storyline roughly
follows Dumas' novel "The Three Musketeers". I
have been cast as the villain, Milady DeWinter and
am having a great time getting in touch with my
inner evil. At the same time I have gotten a crash course in stage combat and outdoor theater while brushing up my rather rusty improv skills. This is an amazing group of people to work with and just plain fun.
An Adult Evening With Shel Silverstein
Silverstien is best known for his children's poetry found in books like "Where the Sidewalk Ends". Lesser known are his satirical works for more mature audiences. Among these is an extensive collection of dramatic scenes touching on subjects such as addiction, child rearing, marital relations and popular culture. Big Top Theater's Reader's Theater series is giving me the chance to perform in several of these wry and witty scenes where I am learning to love Shel Silverstien in a whole new way.
Wedding
Nope, not a play. Actually tying the knot. This was such a wonderful day of fun and friends! I'm afraid this tops any stage experience I could ever have. Nonetheless I am hitting the ground running so get in touch with me for new contact information.
Murder Mystery Players
Working with this company is something else! We work in a different venue and with a different group of actors every time so it's never dull or routine. Companies and private parties hire us for an entertaing dinner theater experience. They can choose from any number of scripts but every one ends with the audience having to determine "who-done-it?".
