| As for the concept of the game, it will be a lot like the television show. 1. At the beginner of each investigative period, a lifeguard is chosen. For the first time a name is drawn out of a hat, evertime after that the lifeguard is chosen by the investigator that is killed. 2. The lifeguard divides the remaining investigators into 3 groups(sometimes 2) The groups will do certain tracks to help gain information concerning the game. Detective J will explain everything you need to do to carry out these tracks. Some will be simple, some will be complex. 3. After the tracks are done, the information is put together and certain conclusions are made. The killer then asks a questions(through a red bag) to the investigators. If the investigators answer it correctly, a suspect is cleared. 4. Then, the investigators(minus the lifeguard) vote for who they want to play the killers game(or get killed). Following this, the lifeguard single-handedly chooses another investigator to go play the killers game. Each person gets an envelope(a link). At one place the killer will be there and the investigator will be killed and eliminated from the game. At the other place the investigator will find a key clue from the killer and return to the headquarters. This process repeats itself until the end of the game. As for the rules of the game....The only thing you will need to know is how to contact investigators and under what circumstances. In a week or so, I will divide the suspects to different screennames for myself and my co-host to use. As for this investigative period you will always need to contact me at bravesruul@yahoo.com, Yahoo!Screenname bravesruul. Most of the time, a suspect will contact you. HOWEVER, you can opt to contact a suspect yourself at anytime. Now, it is not wise to talk to suspect alone. If you are ever in a Yahoo!Conference alone, you are in danger of being killed. Some suspects will talk to you through phone conversations(AKA...instant messeanger), others won't. To request a meeting, email the correct screenname asking to meet with the suspect. For example: Dear Mrs. Randolph, I'd like to speak with you sometime. So anytime you get a change to talk with me, just contact me. Thanks! -Joseph I've played in a MISTX game before where the investigators complained about lack of contact with the suspects when they wanted. This puts a stop to that problem. Last, but not least, 2 simple rules of common game courtesy... 1. Please keep this game as PG-rated as possible. Keep profane language to a very low minimum. Some contents of the storyline are very mature itself, so we must keep it down low. 2. IT'S JUST A GAME! IT'S NOT REAL! HAVE FUN! TRY HARD! I look forward to hosting this game. If you have any questions, email me at anytime! Thanks for playing and good luck! Joseph(Detective J) |
