Greetings from an IL Art Teacher!

Below are some photo's of my current room and of my new room that is still under construction.  I have been in my current room since 1980.
I had to BEG for this sink!  Its almost the size of a bathtub, but the one I had before this was a regular ceramic lavatory basin, like the ones found in a restroom.
This is our "new" kiln.  Its a top of the line Skutt with a kiln sitter.  It fires like a dream.  We got this 3 years ago.
A shot of my desk and the student's computer.  I also use this computer with an Averkey and the TV to show powerpoints I make about things we are making or studying.  I have my own computer, too and both have Internet connections.
This arrangement might interest someone...Notice how the tall cabinets face the wall.  They are place about 5 feet from the back wall and make a great partition.  The area behind the cabinets is restricted and that is where the kiln and the drying shelves are.  Sometime I hang posters or student work on the side facing the room.
