Another NJ Art Room
Welcome to my present class room. I am now teaching  in a private school for learning disabled students.  My class size is small, only 6-8 students so my needs have been reduced in size and space.  Working with small groups has proven to be very rewarding for me, because I am able to meet everyone's need within the time frame.  Once again, I accepted a position with an empty room with miscellaneous supplies and limited storage.  Take a look at how it worked out.  This non profit state approved school rents the facilities from a church that had a religious school at one time.

I moved the drafting table over to the other side of the room. I needed some bookcases to store the materials so the children can get them themselves.
From the door way, this is how I saw the room for the first time.
The fans were stored in this room over the summer. No white boards here,
One fan, posters are up (my personal ones) and other visual aids.
This are  the bulletin boards, can't really reach the tops!
Someone gave me lots of colored burlap.I started to jjazz up the boards..
On the advise of my IL cyber buddy, I turned the cabinets around to create a storage area, for faculty only AND more display area
These are the supply cabinets with what ever is left from the year.
(pretty messy, don't you agree?)
Notice my paper bins on the right?
