Tide is a regular change in sea level caused by the gravitational attraction of the sun and the moon.

Tombolo is a depositional coastal feature that joins an island to a mainland.  It may be formed by the elongation of a spit.  

Transportation is the process by which eroded material is moved from one place to another.

Trough is the lowest point of a wave.

Tsunamis are giant waves caused by submarine earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Wave is a circular movement in water caused by wind blowing over the sea.  This can be described in terms of wave height and wavelength.

Wave cut platform is a gently sloping rock in front of a cliff that extends seawards.  This is caused by the power of breaking waves

Wave height is the vertical distance between the crest and the trough.

Wavelength is the distance between two adjacent waves and is measured from crest to crest.  

Wave refraction is the bending/ distortion of waves as they reach the irregular coast.  As waves reach shallow water, they lose energy, slow down and change direction.

Weathering is the breaking down of rocks that are exposed to the weather.
