Colin continues to combat the microbes that infest the food chain. He has developed an interest in gardening during the short summers. Likes to cook,and his desserts are to die for. Though reading remains his main recreation.
Alex, Cara Ben and Kim are all still students, Alex and Kim are due to defend their thesis's this year. Ben swears he will complete his economics degree this summer. Edmund the only fulltime salary earner amongst our offspring, helps large corperations with their tax problems. Ben is living with Ed an arrangement that suits them both. Our darling Kate continues to blossom and thrive.
I am enjoying my golden years. Now I can swim, I am learning to snorkel in preperation for a trip to Mexico in the fall with three women friends. I am compiling a definitive family Album on the computer, to put on to discs for the blokes.I am still enjoying my crafts. My neighbour Maggi and I continue ou day excursions to explore the highways and byways of central Alberta.
Monks we who look at the whole and not just the part,know that we too are systems of interdependence, of feelings,perceptions,thoughts, and conciosness all connected. Investigating in this way, we come to realise there is no me or mine in any one part. Just as sound does not belong to any one part of the flute.
