| The Wheel Of Time 10/10 AMAZING book series by Robert Jordan. totally new world, with made up characters and great writing style. very long books, each more than 1000 pages, i think there are thirteen books so far basically, a teenager that thinks he is totally ordinary is forced to leave his tiny small-town "Emonds Field" village with two other boys that grew up around him, tat had all been mysteriously targeted fora ttack. two complete stranger, Moraine and Lan, lead them on their journey, which turns out to be a whole ten-books worth of suspense. (just saying, in the middle of the third book, t one point, i got a little bored, and i stopped reading. when i finally continued, i realized that the next books ere still aweosom, and it is definitely worth it to read on! there are a few times where story gets dragged on, but it isn't too much if you get used to it.) |
| Eragon 10/10 This book is about dragons, dragon riders, and dragon eggs. It all starts when a boy, by hte name of Eragon, finds a dragon egg. Later, it hatches, and he decides its up to him to ensure the survival of dragons. In the setting of this story, there is a king who had the only three dratgon eggs left, but he, with the power of being a dragon rider, took revenge on his rejection to getting a new dragon, and made it hard for everyone to live their lives safely and happily. Now, Eragon, with the powers he is gradually given, needs to leave his land for his safety, that of its townspeople, and the dragon, Saphira IN the book, he has a companion, who he had thought was an old story teller, but there was a secret tht i wont tell you about him. This is a great book filled with fantasy, adventure, and suspense. |
| Chronicles of Narnia 7/10 Good series, for those of you who have seen the movie, you should know. read the book, it is really good. For those of you who haven't seen the movie, it is about a group of kids who find out about a world called Narnia. they go to it through a wardrobe while playing hide and go seek in thir uncles house.throuhg the books, they discover many things about the world, and some tings you -as the reader-will discover that they dont know about. it is a really fun book, with good characters and a really good plot. |

| The Ear, The Eye, and The Arm 8/10 This is a mystery book, that takes place in the future. three kids, children of some prime minister or someone important, are getting sick of their confined life, scince their parents are so over protective abpout them because they are kids of important people. Finally, for a boy scouts badge, the eldest decides with teh gelp of his siblings to run away. they have many adventures, and in the meantime, a group of three old fashioned detectives look for them. each detective has a special quality that they got becasue of a nuclear bomb droppoie di world war 3 or sometrhing. it is anoying how they always miss eachother, but a really satisfying book which i have enjoyed many times. |

| Maximum Ride 9/10 ? This is another great fantasy book, that captured my interest from the first page. dont read the first book if you dont have access to the second, because the ending is not very satisfying, but besides that i enjoyed ther book immensely. its about a group of six kids that were used as a scinece experiment in a place called the School. there, a bunch of "whitecoats" inserted avian=bird DNA into them, and so they grew wings and vcould fly. one scientis there, Jed, pitied them or something, and helped free them from their cages (any time they were not being tested for experiments, they lived in cages) and bring them to a safe place to live. two years later he disappeared, assumed dead, and now, suddenly, one of the six had been kidnapped by Erasers, the Canine equivalents of these bird-kids, who were also created in the School, but for one purpse only: evil... you should know that is only the beginning of the plot, it gets to be much more complicated, with a few entertaining twists in the middle |
