These are some rules and regulations that you must observe at all time during the race.

1: Manners in the chatroom must be observed at all times.

2: Teams will be penalised for at least 3 minutes if they fail to complete any of the tasks given.

3: Racers cannot sign up for multiple accounts. The host can check the IP.


4: The Host reserve the right to disqualify or ban anyone from the Race for any appropriate reasons.

5: The Host holds the final decision to any part of the game.

6: Any hacking, intruding or peeping into the Java Script, HTML code or any other web components is STRICTLY not allowed. All clues in the Race are encrypted.

In the Chatroom (AIM)
1: Racers are allowed to have private conversations with each other.

2: Racers cannot exchange email contacts or any other communication address including phone number.

3: The host cannot help anyone who loses his/her clue. Racers can only ask from another Racer for help.

4: All Racers must remain an online status throughout the entire game. If any Racer is offline more than 20 minutes without any reason, that Racer will be disqualified.

5: All Racers MUST answer interview questions by the Host during their mandatory rest period. If a team fails to answer the questions, the Host has the right to hold them back for the next Leg.

6: Racer's actual identity must be kept secret.

During the Race
1: Racers are recommended not to use external help such as a second person on the computer.

2: Due to the fact that there could be technical errors in the course, the 5 minutes rest may be extended longer. Please be assured that everyone will have equal amount of extension of time.

3. All Racers should report any error or mistakes encountered in the Race course.

4: As the Host must remain fair, the Host cannot help any Racer unless under special circumstances such as errors in the Race course.

5:If any Racer finds that he/she tried all ways to complete a clue and still couldn't, please double check with (at least 2) other Racers. The Host will not entertain any Racer asking for help or hint.

6: If any Racer finds that his/her computer lacks a software (e.g. Quicktime, Java 2 etc) and needs to download and install it, there will not be time credit. Please download legal softwares from their official website or www.download.com, the Host will not be responsible for any virus or worms in the files you downloaded.

7: If any Racer encounter a technical error involving connection to Internet (e.g. connection time out or disconnection), there will be time credits for that Racer if he/she is disconnected for more than 5 minutes. However, only 60% of the time lost will be awarded (e.g. 10 minutes lost, 6 minutes time credit awarded.) Technical errors do not include a reboot of computer after a software is installed.

8: Skipping of clues or tasks are not recommended. However, if any Racer chooses to skip a clue or task, that Racer must report to the Host. That Racer must be willing to accept Time Penalty.

9: The Time Penalty and Time Credits will only be calculated at the Pit Stop.

10: Racers MUST be responsible enough to report to the Host if he/she wishes to quit the Race.
