| -Hercules obtained a new partner in RVD after Karl Cullinane suffered a ACL injury which will place him on the disabled list for several months. -Mr. Magnifikal wins an Iron Man Match with Eric Bischoff to become 50/50 comissioner. -After Excalibur Wins the Intercontinental Title he joins the New Revolution with Mr. Magnifikal, he grants the Big Black Show factionhood. -Eric Bischoff hosts the new Raw. -He establishes several new #1 contenders for the Survivor Series. -Mr. Valmont purchases enough stock to claim majority ownership of the VWWF. -All members of managemen are terminated. -Excalibur issued a request to be allowed to participate in the Main Event at Wrestlemania. -Undertaker lost the World title to Dale 'The Intimidator' Earnhart. -Steve Blackman obtained the IC title, and has requested that the Big Black Show be recognized as a faction. -Exaclibur renounced his leadership and membership of the Corporation and passed it to Vince McMahon. -Shane McMahon kicked both Carnage and Doomsday out of the Corporation after a screwjob in the Shane and Carnage match which Carnage was victorious regardless. -LOD returned to action against NAO. -Afterlife captured the Hardcore Tag Titles through the new tag team Stone Cold and Dr. Frank. -HHH lost the VWWF World Title to Undertaker after Undertaker prevailed in a gauntlet. -Shane McMahon was victorious at the third Royal Rumble. It was probably the most controversial Royal Rumble victory to date. -The European Title changed hands from Dude Love of Project Mayhem to the Million Dollar Team's Lex Luger. -The US Tag Title was captured by Karl Cullinane and new found tag partner Hercules -Corey Moore and Jevon Kears lost the Hardcore Tag titles to the Dudleyz after an extrodinarily long reign with the titles. -Winner of the King of the Ring: Angel over Dr. Frank. -The VWWF World Title changed hands to HHH without Wrath exerting a mulligan. -World Tag Belts were defended by 88 and Wrath against Project Mayhem's Juggernaut and Dude Love. -Dude Love had a controversial match with Lex Luger, where both Rupert Cornelius and Buff Bagwell interfered. The hits were too close to call which connected first; thus a rematch is slated for the next Smackdown, possibly in a cage. -The most exciting match of the night was the Excalibur and Eradicator match in which after 5 minutes of excellent wrestling the match had its creshendo where both men attempted their pattented manuvers. Eradicator upset the first seeded Excalibur after his move 'the Eradication' - The cinderella story of the night was Justin Credible arriving at round 3 and nearly defeating Angel. The match lasted over 9 minutes. -During the undercard matches, Chris Benoit answered his invitations to the corporation when he stormed the ring during Saturn's hardcore match and aided Jake in a victory. Stone Cold also arrived and attacked Jake, some speculate that it was due to their feud from the Royale Rumble. -The Million Dollar Team defeated the New Revolution in the first ever 1 hour iron man tag match 19 to 18 with a winning pin by HHH at 0:03. -DX overtook RTC with a score or 3 to 1 with one draw in the women's match. Comissioner Rupert added Faith into the match to give her a deserved rematch for the title. President Galahad challenged and added stipulations to keep the match in check, and was retorted by Rupert with a 5 minute time limit. -Excalibur lost his IC title in the hardcore threeway to Angel. -The Corporation tied The Afterlife each with two of the four matches when Dude Love threw his match giving the victory to Dr. Frank under the orders of Tyler Durden the mastermind of Project Mayhem. -A tie breaking rumble was set between four afterlife members and four corporation members. The last two standing were Corey Moore and Excalibur. Afterwards Moore was thanked and fogiven for any mistrust in the past. -The 'ratings' final match before the season's break between Angel/Iceman and Excalibur/Eradicator was won by Excalibur and Eradicator when Angel lost his balance in the turnbuckle and fell to the outside, injury reports are expected to be released soon. -Nearly all belts were placed in matches, all but the LHW title and the IC title were defended. X-Pac defeated Rey Jr. to obtain the belt, and Excalibur defeated Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho to recapture the IC belt.. Only the World and World Tag belts were not placed in matches due to their upcoming matches at Armageddon. -Chris Jericho caused some ripples in the alliance between DX and Project Mayhem by allowing Excalibur to pin Chris Jericho without interferrence. Tyler Durden is expected to make a statement. |
