Through meadows fresh with spring,
In autumn's gold-bespattered land,
Through winter's covering.
I've never seen your gentle face;
I've never heard your voice;
I've never shared my dreams with you;
And yet you are my choice.
I look for you in crowded rooms
Or by the quiet stream.
I've seen you once or twice, my dear,
Within a special dream.

I've waited all my life to have this beautiful thing.
I've saved and saved to purchase it with these coins-these metal rings.
I can't wait to feel the sof white satin swaying against my thigh.
I've waited for so long that trying it on makes me want to cry.
Now is the time, I've searched to find the one and here I sit.
I just know when I try it on it will be a perfect fit.
It will be found and taken, there will only be one,
I will never ask for another-not three not two...NONE!
This one will feel good on me, it will be worn with my soul shining through
I will be the most beautiful because it will be the epitome of brand new.
