Titus 2:3-5 (KJV) |
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; |
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, |
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. |

The idea behind VirtuousWomen Mentors is to revive the lost art of the "aged" Christian women being examples, teachers and accountability partners to the younger women in the church. This is not limited to local bodies -- for the church is made up of every Christian in the world regardless of ethnicity, denomination or creed. Our identity is found in Christ alone, not man-made organizations or documents. The Bible is our ultimate authority. |
We are not another chat group. We agree to place ourselves humbly in accountability to each other -- expecting to be called on areas where we are lax or in error. We don't forward inspirational stories or chain letters -- we seriously study the Bible and apply it's principles to our daily lives. |
A member is required to participate in the prayer partner program and post weekly. Regular personal devotions and Bible study are also expected. |

We are currently studying the Holy Spirit, and Breaking Through to Spiritual Maturity by Neil Anderson. |
