Hi there...thanks for stopping by today! I am Visionary50 and I reckon I was the catalyst used to bring the Vine to life. I began my 'internet experience' in March of 1999. After trying my hand in the Yahoo Trivia Chat rooms I ventured into Alternative Medicine (herbs are one of my passions!) and eventually meandered into the Astrology rooms. Astrology brought many, many friends into my path and I felt (and still feel) very blessed to share time with each and every one of the folks I met there. It didn't take long before I began creating open rooms on Yahoo for friends to gather at and chat on common themes... whoever I met I wanted other new buddies to meet as well so the list of my friends began to grow and become friends with other friends etc.. etc.. To date the Visionary's Vine Club is just over 700 members. (No... we are not THE 700 club...giggles!)
On August 12, 1999 the Vine Club was founded. Bojangle was my first internet chat buddy and he is also the one responsible for the name 'Visionary's Vine.' (To think it comes from an hallucinogenic drug given by South American shamans to induce visions... giggles)
I was born smack dab between Pisces and Aquarius. (0 degrees and less than 2 minutes into Pisces!) Hence my name as Visionary, though most folks call me Vis on line. I am the classic dreamer of the Zodiac and tend to have a lot of polarities in my natal chart. It seems that I get along with most all the signs of the Zodiac and of course I love 'em all!
I am the mother of 3 kids and the grandmother of 7. My family is very important to me as I believe the family is the oldest institution known to man. I also know that extended families include all those around me for we all come from the same Source...by whatever Name we choose to call that Source. I am a Spiritual Being without succumbing to the dogma of religion. I have learned to love, respect, and accept folks where they are at in their own unique spiritual journey without judgement or trying to get them to conform to my own philosophical and spiritual thoughts.
I have lived in Ohio for the last 35 years but return to my home state of West Virginia at least once a year to nurture my own soul in those beautiful hills. It is my opinion that the mountains in West Virginia are the best kept secret in the United States. The old adage says, "you can take the girl from the mountains but you can't take the mountains from the girl" fits me to a T.
I have had 'visions' all my life and the ONE vision I hold most precious is seeing our world's society rise above petty differences and grow together in UNISON like a Vine in LOVE, HARMONIOUS VIBRATION, and PEACE.
I am a masterpiece in training and have designed my own website to reflect the visions and dreams that I have. Sometimes I learn lessons from the simple everyday things that happen... as you will see in my pages. |
