One thing I don't do well is talk about myself. That is not to say that I don't believe in me. I am probably my biggest fan, next to my family members and some of my closest friends. It is just that in some instances, specifically when it comes to the things of God, I don't believe that 'who I am' is of much importance.

I understand that many times, we want to know a person's pedigree before we can determine whether or not what they have to say is worth listening to. You know us, we want to know things like: who their parents were, where they were educated and what makes them the subject matter expert. The Bible tells us that God will take the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. That being the case, consider me one of those 'foolish things'.

The following is what this author wants you to know about her. She is a product of an inner city upbringing, specifically the inner city of the nation's capital. She now resides in the suburbs of Maryland with her husband, whom she believes to be the character of God incarnate. She is Co-founder and Outreach Programs Director of Visions Christian Outreach Ministries, Inc and an active member of her local church, Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church of Fort Washington, MD. She loves the Lord and has a heart for His people, specifically the women of God. She works hard to do what she believes He has anointed her hands to do that she might reach the masses.

Lastly, she hopes that she can make a small impact for the glory of God and the sake of the Cross - as she makes her mistakes, takes her spiritual spankings and shares her journey as God gives her inspiration!
