Growing Pains!
When you were a baby and began to walk, you fell more than you were on your feet.  Sometimes, that fall landed you in the protective arms of a loved one.  Other times, it landed you on one of the many hard surfaces of life until you mastered the method.

When you were going through your teenage years, some things that don't really matter now as an adult, cut you like a knife.

Today, those growing pains still exist.  Transitions from one phase of life to another sometimes brings with it uncertainty, unhappiness, discomfort and fear.  Be that as it may, it must come.

In the plan of God, we will experience these 'growing pains' until the final transition homeward.  Let us not let these life phases cause us to lose sight of the one true purpose for existence: worship with our living and praise from our hearts and mouths to God.

Growing pains represent maturation.  Don't worry because they come.  Worry when they don't!
