Recently I've noticed a lot of everybody's questions and concerns about the band's current activities. Because there have not been anything significant that happened, the news update on the band have been slow. Here I will talk about the band's current activities and related subjects.

First, the cancellation of the show in ShangHai. This occurance has caused a lot misconceptions and rumors. I want to clarify that the cancellation is due to the inadequate amount of tickets sold. Of course, this happened because the band and the record company's preparation and promotional work was inadequate and errors were made. Please believe that the band's loss of this performance caused great pain and sorrow. Because a lot of ShangHai's friends(fans) said that they were unable to obtain(buy/find) "Never End", I thought up of the idea of offering the cd along with the tickets. This way, the 60yuan ticket will have a 25yuan cd and 15yuan poster that comes along. Due to this time's promotional inadequacy plus other various other reasons, on the week of the show we received the news that not even 30 tickets have been sold. Even though there are a few more days before the show and sometimes people buy tickets on the day of the show, but compared to last time's show there was a 90% loss of tickets sold, and it was hard to believe and accept. Because this time was not the company's scheduled promotional-type performance, all spendings come from the tickets sold. And we also had to pay the previous un-paid spendings. Taking into consideration that no matter what there is no way we can afford to make this performance happen, I had to make the hard decision of cancelling the show. Here I would like to thank ARK music house(resturant) and manager Ju.  Under this occurrance ARK understood our situation and helped us with refunding the tickets. At the time there was a discussion over how to announce the cancellation but in the end we decided to just tell the truth about the situation. So please, everyone do not spread rumors about the reason why the show was cancelled. Although cancellation of a show is nothing to be proud of, but at the same time we overcame an obstacle. Due to the financial problems we can not make the performance, the band should be the most hurt. Because whether it is preparations or other factors, it is the band that gave out all their effort. But we will not let this take away out ShangHai fan's belief in us, we promise that next time when we perform in ShangHai we will bring out the best of Silver Ash!

Also, everyone is concerned about our health. Due to the seriousness of SARS in BeiJing, all events and activities of the band must be stopped. But our health is good, so do not worry. Yue has also arrived home and resting. Due to this SARS incidence, the previously scheduled EP recording has been postponed but the release date has not changed. Due to SARS, all of the out of city performances for the first half of the year has been cancelled. (I must say, I am not too happy.) The band members are all home right now finding sources for music writing, getting ready for the 2nd album's songs. This is what we have been up to. As to me, besides preparing the songs I am preparing the band's Project clothing line "Gorgeous Devil"'s ("Mei mor"),design and preparation work, hoping that by the end of the year it can be released and hope then everyone will support it.

Next is everyone's discussion over the change in style. What is this about? Right now, on the website's pictures is our pictures taken by an American reporter, afterwards we asked Demone to help us take the pictures. This is all to express the band's current feelings and emotions. Actually, our style(look) is constantly changing. We hope to match the band's changing periodsand way of thinking and music style. As to me, I cut my hair because I can not stand my messed up hair anymore. I never thought it would receive such a huge response and discussion. From now on, as to what out style would be, we are not too sure yet. We hope it is like our music, it would express our different feelings for the different time periods.

Also, I would like to respond to the previous question. First, my ear hole(got it in junior high), these few years I haven't paid much attention to earrings and such, so everyone might not have noticed. When I went to high school I got a nose ring. Right now, I feel that wearing stuff affects the prettyness(?) of the nose. So I don't ear it anymore. Also, if I do not go into the career of making music (This is unthinkable, so I can say what ever ^^), I will become a tour guide. Because I really love the different places' scenery and sites. This time's concert tour I regret not being able to see any scenery and sites. If possible I would like to visit every corner of the Earth, and the only way to do this without spending money is to become a tour guide. Also, it was planned that after we come back from America we would plan to perform in Hong Kong, around September, but because of SARS everything will have to be waited on.

Lastly, I hope to talk about the problems with these discussions. I welcome everyone's questions, ideas, advice. But at the same time I hope that everyone's discussion topics be related to music.
