“2010, huh?” the band leader
asked, tilting his head against the chair’s back to watch Gackt…who of course
pointedly ignored the verbal prodding.
“You should’ve made it 2009 – then it would’ve been…what? A decade since the
beginning?”
“Yes,” Gackt admitted,
stretching, “But that’s in about a year.
I know I need more time than that – I know I can do more than that. And nine is unlucky.”
“You never really struck me
as the superstitious type, Gaku, even with all the talk of ghosts and such. Also,” Cha added, looking quickly at his
watch, “it’s 2008 right now. 2010 still doesn’t give us much time.” With a grin, he pointed at Gackt and You and
gestured at the closet. “Quickly! Go make
scandal!”
“What for?” You asked, his eyes jumping from one man to the
other.
Cha shrugged and went back to
strumming his guitar. “Scandal always
boosts sales. Especially
when two hot men are involved.”
Gackt snorted in disbelief and shook his head. “You don’t believe me,” he continued, “but
I’m serious. Think about it – I’d say
roughly 90-95% of your fan base is female.
I’d also wager that a large portion of them have fantasized about you
banging one of us at some point in time.
I vote for some Gackt-You action.”
He ended with a wink in the violinist’s direction, feeling just a twinge
of pride at the red flush that colored the younger man’s cheeks.
