“Here,
eat this,” the redhead said, handing his overworked friend the tinfoil-wrapped
chocolate bar.
Taking
it hesitantly, Satoru put down his pen and removed his glasses while his friend
walked around the table to take the seat opposite him. “But Ren,” he began, “I don’t eat sweets – I
can’t.”
“It’s bitter chocolate,” the smaller man explained,
withdrawing his own text books. “It’s practically
solidified caffeine. And since caffeine
keeps you awake, helps you concentrate, and helps you remember, I figured it’d
be an appropriate snack for finals week.”
