Each Flake A Kiss

Snow flakes flutter down and
Make a blanket for my feet.
They cover up the ground and
Make the mornings hard to greet.
But sitting here I know that the
Loved one that I miss
Is sending kisses made of
Snow flakes and my heart
Receives each kiss.

Snow flakes flutter to me and I
Turn my gaze up hi.
While the snow flakes flutter to
Me dear, I catch them with a smile
Catching snow flakes sent with
Love from my lover far away
Fills my heart with warm regrets
That he's not with me here today.

I lay down at his feet while
Making angels in the snow.
Again this I repeat to make
Another near him so.
Our wings embraced,
I look down now and
See the image  that I drew.
My hearts quick pace reminds me
That my heart is there with you.

Snow flakes flutter to me and
Kiss my face with every touch.
They serve as a reminder that
I love you oh so much.
My angel lies there knowing that
There's something too you lack.
I hope you're standing there
My love to catch the kisses
I'm sending back.
